McLaren MP4/6 1:8 Scale is finally available at rebrickable
Since January reveal there were two changes to the model, the first one I decided to put 2 speed gearbox into the car and fake lever replace for real lever that actually change the speed, I couldn't squeeze anything bigger but I think that still cool to have
Also the slicks show up in LEGO inventory and I had to adjust extensions of the winglets from front wing, its very tight but when stays on the ground and gravity do the job everything should be fine
This is the car that Ayrton Senna won his third championship.
The main highlight for this model is removable whole body to put on special designed stand and display both exterior and interior of the car. I put a lot of attention to have interior looking as good as it can. I wanted it to match the model kits from Tamiya and similar.
The HOG is hidden in default version as I wanted to have look of the car the best I can but you can very easily add the HOG steering.
I also designed stand that you can put the body as separate display piece.
The set features:
- 2 Speed manual gearbox with lever in cockpit
- Fake V12 engine connected to gearbox
- Suspension front and rear
- Steering connected to driver wheel
- HOG (hidden in default version)
- Removable whole body of the car,
- You can remove front and rear wing,
- Seatbelts,
- Detailed interior of the car

Prossimo progetto sarà molto più lungo sia per via economica che progettazione
Anche perché l estate la perdo nel aggiornare la lego room
Quindi fino a primavera 2026 non prevedo di finire la prossima dopo il teatro
Causa anche i ritardi per esposizione del teatro e tutto quello che va dietro ad esso
Oltre che immesso c’è anche un altro piccolo progetto chiesto della mia azienda in lego
Ma ancora è in stato embrionale -

Da decoder per le maniglie e per le aperture
Se farle a cerniera o ghigliottina
Per ora mi fermo e cado avanti con il resto -

Ma in altezza non dovrebbe essere in brick? Nel senso di visti "impilati" e non di lato?
